RE: SEC Football Predictions
Missouri recruiting has not fallen off. We had a QB disaster last year. It happens. We won two division titles with the same levels of recruiting. Teams rise and fall. Look at Tennessee... picked #1 in the SEC East. Did South Carolina have sub par SEC talent last year when they finished 3-9? It will take some time for the new Missouri coach to make the team his. Same for South Carolina. We will be back. I agree that a bowl game for the Tigers will be a major victory this year. 04-cheers

Saban retires? That is BOLD!

When Saban retires I am fine with Dabo taking the job, as he most assuredly will.

I think it's going to be a while though. Saban is still highly competitive. He needs football too much at the moment.

I think so too.

Ultimately, there is probably a few more years left but I doubt Saban will allow himself to retire on a downward trend.

He spoke to this the other day. He said when he is no longer bothered by losing to the point where he doesn't perform at his best then he'll know it's time to hang it up.

RE: SEC Football Predictions
I'm predicting:

1) TN loses to Florida in a heartbreaker but wins the east.
2) LSU loses to Alabama. but wins the west because Alabama loses to TN and Ole Miss.
3) LSU goes to the playoff and wins.
4) South Carolina manages to go bowling.
5) Kentucky manages to go bowling.
6) Vandy does not and their coach gets fired.

RE: SEC Football Predictions
I'm predicting that most preseason expectations are pretty much shattered by mid November.

Saban will retire some day, but not after this year.

Malzahn and Freeze will one day be High School coaches again.

Will Muschamp will once again be a solid defensive coordinator for somebody.

Les Miles is the one who will retire at the end of the season.

Florida State will not win the ACC.

Harbaugh will prove to be a consistent 8-4 & 9-3 coach with the occasional 10 win Big 10 season.

Urban will continue to struggle until he hires another stellar Offensive Coordinator.

Oregon will continue to be all hype.

U.S.C. is not back.

Leach will continue to pull a shocker or two a year.

And this year college football will have at least one two loss CFP participant.

Alabama seems to always lose to Ole Miss. I'm a TN fan, maybe this is just hope.

I doubt they lose three years in a row though. Ole Miss gets their QB back but didn't they lose quite a bit? It seems like only Bama is the only school that doesn't get hurt that bad by losing starters.

The coach expectation is brave.

That is probably the most interesting thing in my opinion of this season.

I don't see any change in powers this season but we are primed for sweeping leadership changes.

It's always possible.

That said, Ole Miss had never beaten UA two times in a row in history and the two teams have met 62 times, with Ole Miss just now reaching double digits in wins.

Could it be 3 in a row? Maybe but I'd say Tennessee has a much stronger chance of a win than does Ole Miss.

That's often the case with all the "newbies". SC, Arkansas, Missouri, and A&M never get respect when good, get trashed the instant they show weakness.

I suspect both our schools will be back where we were in short order.
