Was that you tapping your left foot in the third stall?

most of the teams in the big 12 are not worth 20-30 million.
with that being said i like the american as is. the only reason for moving up would be for the money.

As a Cincy fan, I have no desire to play football in the Big 12. Money and exposure are the only reasons to consider a move. In the American, money is a real problem for athletic departments. The greatest evidence of this is coaching turnover. In the event that we can achieve a media deal that semi-stabilizes this problem, the American is a nice place to park your university.

However, in the larger scheme, Cincinnati needs some regional rivalries. In the Big East, we had Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Louisville. These three universities are all within 3 hours of the universities and offered packed houses in both football and basketball. Even more than money, this is what I as a fan desire.

So ideally, I root for an invite from the ACC or the destruction of the Big 12 that results in West Virginia and Iowa State joining our conference. West Virginia and Iowa State combined with Memphis would greatly add to semi-regional rivalries for football and hoops.

This. I can’t stand the b12. There are 2 programs that make it a p5 and that’s it. If those 2 leave it’s now a g6.
