I hope the best for our volleyball girls, but I would not be unhappy with a coaching change. Our relatively new AD has made his mark with his coaches in girls softball and girls basketball, but not yet in volleyball.

I dont think the results we are getting in volleyball would be tolerated at many of the schools we compete against.

AState runs over App State with a rather large truck in Boone. 25-15, 25-16, 25-7. Mountaineers apparently lost a ton after last season.

We play some team called Coastal Carolina in Conway on Sunday. I hear they're pretty good.

Forgot to state that UTA beat USA in four sets. Have Troy tomorrow.

AState takes the first set from Coastal 25-12, but CCU has responded by jumping out to an early 2nd set lead.

Coastal takes sets 2 and 3 with late runs to take the lead

Congrats on your win. Wish we would have woke up in time for the first set, the rest were phenomenal matchups. Your defensive side, covering well, getting balls up, and gat passes were your strength today. It decided the sloppy fifth set in your favor. I think CCU was the better hitting/blocking team, but we weren't in system enough to pull it out. Ought to be a helluva rematch. Gauntlet thrown.
