The league was represented well in the Dallas vs LA preseason game last night. A lot of players at skill positions played pretty well for the most part.
Lucky Whitehead, Alfred Morris, Bennie Cunningham, Tyler Higbee, Mike Thomas, and Jamiele Showers all from CUSA teams. Hope I didn't miss anyone else.
Whitehead took the opening kickoff back too.

I agree. Over and over "from Western Kentucky" "from Middle Tennessee" "from Southern Miss" "from North Texas" --- very proud of our conference.

Lance Dunbar is an important Back in the Dallas system. He is coming back from injury right now. Also Derek Akunne had a monster hit that forced a fumble. Both are North Texas guys.

Which team is Higbee on? That guy can play. I would be very surprised if he doesn't make the team.

It was definitely fun hearing all the C-USA schools named last night, and if you missed Whitehead's kickoff return, you missed a good one. He made one guy miss, dodged a second guy and was off to the races.
Mike Thomas had a rough night and is already fighting an uphill battle with Duke Williams trying to earn a spot and Nelson Spruce absolutely showing out last night. Hope he makes it but his game is going to have to get a lot better quickly, Higbee looked solid.

I read a report on the Ram's rookies that said Thomas has been dropping balls repeatedly in camp. After seeing that last night, it doesn't look good for him to make the team. He had great hands at USM, hard to understand.

Chuck,
I am impressed that you have +40 Rep points or whatever it is called. I figured you had been hit as hard as I from the @Lafayetters. All of my neg rep comes from them and I am barely above water. The @Lafayetters are an odd lot if someone doesn't agree with them. Rather cultish and kinda creepy, their group think and all. Man, they are childish about their name game.
