Not for me - I will take our Huskies as 10 point favorites without hesitating! I have now bought in that Drew will be fine, and even if he is not quite as an effective runner as he was, we have plenty of very good running backs. With that and our receivers I am confident we will move the ball pretty much at will and spank Wyoming! Like others I am concerned about our D line; however I really like our new coordinators, and I am sure our D coordinator will address the D line issues! Am I drinking the cool-aid? Maybe some, but come on let's get behind our Huskies! If all works out as I hope, it could be a very special year!

A new O Coordinator for NIU has to count for at least 7 pts. Healthy QBs too make NIU alot better this year but 10 pts is alot on the road anywhere......especially 1st game. Look at UNLV in Dekalb last year.

Wyoming was predicted to finish 11th in MWC. We better wipe the floor with them.

9/12/15: EMU 48 Wyoming 29. It may have been last year, but when the worst team in the MAC beats Wyoming in their own stadium by 19 points, if we don't beat Wyoming by more than 10 points then I have been drinking too much Huskie Kool-aid! Yes I know that first games can be strange, but I sense that things are coming together and I am hoping the players want to make a statement after the end of last year!

First game, late start, unknown opponent, a lot of weirdness can happen, Id hedge toward more than 10 also, but who knows.

USA TODAY COACHES POLL Pre-Season Top 25
NIU 51 Wyoming 10. I think Carey and the players are sick of hearing about the Boise game, will be back healthy and will beat the $hit out of the Cowboys. Sorry that's just how I see it

Yeah, bunch of morons. They take what MD said and use it as the picture to paint us all like idiots. He's the only one thinking the B12 is possible this go around, the rest of us and content with the AAC
