It is obvious the Big 12 is on the verge of announcing expansion. I thought it would be fun (or funny) for everybody to post their official predictions.

Mine: Memphis, Cincy, Houston, BYU (all sports).

Its still just Dennis Dodd predicting it will happen before the start of the season. All those other reports are just quoting him.

His report seems reasonable, especially if they want a 2017 start date, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen until September or October.

Nothing, Texas squashes it.

Still have some doubt that they will expand....but if they do, I will stick with my long held position that it will be....BYU and Houston...no one else

Cincy, CSU, BYU, and Memphis.

Memphis might be swapped with UH though.

Well, if it doesn't happen in August, we can do it again in September.

Not what I want, but what I think will happen, and in order of likelihood:

Cincy, BYU, Houston, Colorado State

First alternate: Memphis, because I thought hard before picking CSU ahead of them, LOL.

Strongest remaining football program - Boise
Best overall athletic program - UConn
Academics - Tulane
TV market, location, and huge student body - UCF
Big 12 footprint and facilities - Colorado St
Money and BBQ - Memphis
