Hope it doesn't rain
Golf outing today. Very busy at work so can't attend. Drove by St. Andrews this morning quiet right now, that will change. Will try to get 411 if my friends can remember after a day of golf and drinking

Hope it doesn't rain
It was a great day. All he coaches were there and all of he seniors. The seniors were all split up at the tee boxes and talked to us when we teed off which was a lot of fun. The linebacker group was great. Folliard, Flemming, and Payton were great guys and had fun with us. The speeches by the old coaches were awesome. Coach Culpepper from the 70s was cracking jokes left and right, Mallory was really fired up, and of course Novak is always an amazing speaker. All of them all talked about how wherever they've been in their coaches stops, NIU was special and they all have a great deal of pride. All of them were also really disappointed with the turnout at the event. Said usually they have about 160 people at the golf outing and only had 80 this year. Novak also thinks our fans have gotten complement with winning and are takin it for granted. Harnish is now a big part of the alumni group to try and get more alumni and fans engaged. I think he'll do a great job
I will say, this event is awesome! It was my first time going and I won't miss it again. I really urge a lot of you guys to go Next year. Doesn't matter if you suck at golf, it's a scramble and best ball set up with unlimited beer and good food. If we want to make changes w attendance and look to go bigger and better it stars with all of us alumni and fans. Hope to see more of you guys there next year!

I guess they're having the same attendance problem we have at Huskie stadium. From my perspective there seems to be some confusion as to whether non-football alumni are encouraged to attend. Some posters have said it's only meant for football alumni others said anybody can go. I'll be playing St. Andrews in two weeks for my high school alumni outing.

Very discouraging trend here as I mentioned the attendance was way down for family night as well. Our fan base appears to be dwindling. STF needs to address this and soon.

STF has one foot out the door. Not sure he cares too much at this point.
