Maybe I missed it, but I cannot find any "rumors" on any TCU board today that says TCU will vote as Texas votes or any other school in the state that another poster referenced earlier.
And for westhoff123 who likes to label me a troll and down vote me, I have come around on Houston to be added, only if it is 4 being added. I'm sure that will get 6 more down votes from him, LOL, like he did yesterday.
What can i say just putting a troll in his place. We all know your really dawgxes anyway.
Sounds like your whining.
Wait, you mean dawgxes doesn't really find every single post of his upvote-worthy?

What are you talking about westhoff123? I am not another poster. I don't play stupid child games and have multiple handles. Go to any TCU website and you will see YA as a poster, try KillerFrogs, TCU Blitz or Frog Horn so get out of here with being some random poster. I don't play that ****.
Finally, the idea that the TCU chancellor will vote the way the Texas Governor wants is one of the most ridiculous posts I have ever seen on any college message board. TCU owes nothing the Texas Governor or the state, absolutely nothing. UH I could see, but a private institution like TCU would tell the Governor and any other Texas politician to pound sand.

They'll don't want to hear that the vast majority of UT, TCU and Baylor alumni do not want UH in the big 12. And are expressing these opinions to their respective school presidents. It doesn't fit their narrative of this board and if you disagree with them with an outside perspective, you'll be ridiculed and call a troll. Really childish.

So dawgexs up voting you just now was coincidence then huh? Are you sure you graduated from tcu?
So the fact that you have less than 300 posts doesn't mean your a random poster?

That's what I heard the other day also. I posted that on this board and was laughed at. I'm hearing the same from Baylor also.

"43% of voters in the state support allowing Houston to join the Big 12 to only 7% who are opposed to that. What's maybe more interesting though is how fans in the state's existing Big 12 fan bases feel about adding Houston- Texas fans support it 47/5, Texas Tech fans support it 56/10, Baylor fans support it 67/3, and TCU fans support it 65/1. It's safe to say there's not much resistance at least from the fans of rival schools for letting the Cougars in."

Just go look at YA posts and my posts. He join in 2007 with many posts in the archives and I joined in 2015. I finally put west on ignore for making childish personal insults, I would suggest you do the same. If you can't make comments like a man to someone's face, don't make the comments at all.
RE: B12 expansion news, info, and speculation mega-thread
I graduated from TCU in 1994 with a BS degree in political science. As I said before, I been on this site for a long time since November 2007. I wanted to follow former conference mates from CUSA days. Sorry I don't post as often as I mainly lurk.
Anyway, I just find it funny that houston fans think a private school gives two rips what Texas politicians want and we answer to them. Get it through your thick skulls that being private means not having to answer to Texas governmental officials. We are not on the government tit like houston and what little money that might be given out as grants is chump change in the TCU world as most of our students do not qualify.

RE: B12 expansion news, info, and speculation mega-thread
YA please look up the federal grants approved by states given to tcu
Baylor regular asks for state funding, Baylor medicine (though separate from Baylor) is 100% reliant on state funding I know this for a fact
They don't get as much as public schools but private school get a large amount of money yearly from the state
The state actually tried to dramatically cut the state funding to private schools in 2013-2014.. Tcu led the opposition in fighting that and lobbied like crazy with politicians
I don't get this idea that private schools are touchable by the state government...and tcu was left out because they didn't have Texas support in the swc and Baylor has been protected over the ages from Texas supporting them..The PAC 16 was killed becuase they didn't want Baylor...I don't get this notion that tcu will dare go against Texas and risk not being favored in a potential move in 2024 as a partner
