You are at the table. The kids table. Have a seat you'll be here awhile.

LOL... This league isn't a kids table... Stop thinking small. My
That's right, this isn't the kids table at all. We've all benefitted from being associated with each other in this conference and in previous conferences for most of our programs. Interesting that whatever conference this collection of programs is in (despite losing members and gaining new ones) is arguably always the best of the non-qualifying conferences.

If we're honest, it's more like the table you put the weird aunt, uncle, and cousins at who are just a little too weird. Not all the way with the kids, but definitely not with it enough to have a seat with the family.
That's a depressingly accurate portrayal...

But maybe you'll get adult beverages there eventually!

RE: This leaked the day before the Big 12 vote
Now the report of the Houston AD meeting with the PAC-12 commissioner maker more sense, and probably had more to it than most people think. With the big 12 announcing it's exploring expansion candidates, the PAC-12 is probably exploring its options too.

I have always stated that I believed if the Big 12 expanded the PAC-12 would too simply to stay ahead of the big 12. What better way to hurt a rival conference than to invite the school located in the heart of their recruiting grounds. If the PAC-12 took Houston it would be a significant blow to the big 12 as far as recruiting and TV market.

The PAC is an ideal landing spot for UH

I mean i understand all the arguments against us for the pac-12. But at the end of the day $$$ is king, an uh gives the pac-12 just that, while hurting a rival conference.

Texas will bring Oklahoma in exchange for PAC Networks being partly owned by ESPN to fold LHN into the networks and to get better distro.
Wait, what???

If every school in the AAC’s AD’s haven’t been in contact with the P5 conferences from time to time if for nothing else than to confirm their interest in the conference and doing a little “look at all the great things we’ve done at (your university name here)” selling of your program then they aren’t doing their job.

Apparently UCONN is still monitoring, as the new AD said he won't call the Big 12. They have to call him.

I thought this whole sipping mai thai's and monitoring died when former AD Warde Manuel left for Michigan. Apparently, only the sipping of mai thai's has died.

Me too brother, me too

I think NIU would flourish in the AAC playing against teams the fan base can get excited for instead of directional michigans and forgotten ohio schools...
