This schedule absolutely screws both Rice and SELA if LSU does get their game in tonight, as it means both of us will have to play two games tomorrow, whereas LSU and Utah Valley will play just once after getting a full night's sleep. Talk about totally rigging your regional.

I have just been informed that it is, in fact, Westernish Carolina, not West Carolina as previously stated.

That's a reward for earning a top seed and the right to host.

In the bottom of the 3rd, Westernish Carolina has given back 5 runs and the bases are still loaded for Clemson.

We've done better on the road for regionals lately anyway.

I'm confused. In post #32, you say there are only 2 games tomorrow, no one plays a DH. Now you're saying both Rice and SELA will play 2 games on Saturday?
Which is it?

Getting back to Clemson vs W Carolina, the Tigers scored 10 in the bottom of the third to lead 10-6.

The latter. If LSU plays and finishes tonight, Rice plays SELA tomorrow morning, first pitch TBA. Both play 2 games later in the day - Winners play each other, losers play each other.
From Chuck Pool:
1. If Games 1 and 2 on Friday are both cancelled . . . play Games 1 and 2 on Saturday, play Games 3, 4 and 5 on Sunday and Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) on Monday.
2. If Game 1 is started and suspended before being completed on Friday…..resumption of Game 1 and Game 2 on Saturday, Games 3, 4 and 5 on Sunday, Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) on Monday.
3. If Game 2 on Friday is cancelled . . . play Games 2, 3 and 4 on Saturday, Games 5 and 6 on Sunday, and Game 7 on Monday (if necessary).
4. If Game 1 is completed on Friday and Game 2 is started but suspended before being completed on Friday….resumption of Game 2 and Games 3 and 4 on Saturday, Games 5 and 6 on Sunday and Game 7 (if necessary) on Monday.

South Carolina lost. And now Utah beat Ole Miss. Wouldn't mind seeing a couple more SEC teams go down.

RE: Other NCAA regional games
SEC regionals hosts South Carolina and Ole Miss lost respectively to #4 seeds Rhode Island and Utah....and national seed Miss.State needed a late rally to survive. Can the SEC be overrated?

???
Another utterly ridiculous post. By the way, LSU leads 7-1 in the 7th.

Clemson wins by two touchdowns.
Ole Miss got the Pac 12 champ as their four seed. Brutal. Utah wins 6-5 in extras. So that means either Ole Miss or Tulane is going home tomorrow.
South Carolina falls to Rhode Island; LSU is on cruise control.
The Big West showed well for us West Coasters. We just need Fullerton to finish off LaTech tomorrow.

La Tech loses 1-0. I'm sure if you put one Rice jersey in the Fullerton dugout La Tech would've scored 13.

I had the same thought. Not sure how CSF held them scoreless, but job well done.
