The Tuscon Regional could also be called the Haase Regional, with UAB, UNC, and Stanford all in the field... UNC is dead last at +22, UAB at -5, and Stanford at -14.

Ha! Stanford is really really good. Their best player Maverick McNealy will be in the PGA next year no doubt. I first watched him in last year's US Amateur. He and Paul Dunne were both defeated by the eventual champ Bryson Dechambeau in match play. I suppose what I'm getting at is it's no knock being 2nd in this field. A top 5 finish sends us through. They are in a very strong group.

Blazers dropped to 3rd overall after today's play. We trail 2nd place Oregon by 1 stroke and lead 5th place Cal by 6 strokes. Stanford looks unbeatable at this point but we have a decent chance to finish in the top 5 to advance to the next round. Come on guys,, keep your heads down on those shots and putt em well in the final day of the regional tomorrow..
