Kinda my thoughts on the Liberty Bowl.

San Diego's new stadium concept with it being part of a new convention center but it a better set up than San Antonio is exactly the approach Memphis should take with a goal of 2025.

After this will be a rework of BWA with a decrease in cap with added revenue(loge and club) being the goal.I could see BWA go down to 16,500ish.

I went to a game there in the mid 90s before they closed in the one end zone. That was a beautiful view of the Ozarks.

Was, the first expansion should have been in the north end but the Broyles Center was in the way and not expendable at the time. The new football ops center takes care of that. New seat will include a Cowboys like entrance for the players passing through a club.

I haven't been there since right after they joined the SEC and they were doing the first expansion. My brother posts photos from every home game and of course I've seen some games on TV.

Looks totally different from when I was a kid. They didn't even has lights for night games until the 70s.

Its a great, natural, responsible way to flex use a space such as a football stadium with such limited games (1x/wk). Indy, St Louis also have applied the concept. You could attract conventions of the Future Farmers of Am (the 40k+ attendees) I just dont know where downtown there is space, especially if Pinch wont be demolished.

160 million plans were approved yesterday, only adding around d 4,500 seats but 5hose are mostly value added, high demand seats. Some SRO areas will be included for cheap fans. Latest rendering looking from the outside
