Maybe not. But he has run off an awful lot of talented players and not recruited good replacements in his career. Minnesota is prime example of that.

Beyond Lawson having three blue chippers, if the local classes are as good as reported, it would seem Lawson would be retained just to navigate those waters.

I never heard that either. I kind of thought he would go ahead and do the combine and get some free advice since he is certain to go pro after this year. Its not like he's risking using his one gimme for the combine because its uncertain if he would go pro next year.

Wish the Lawson family well and move on. They are not good players and he certainly is not experienced enough college coach to hold a program hostage.

Especially since Chandler and the younger one are bound to be friends with most of those prospects.

We need bodies but I would hate to have them like this. We lost tons of games even with Dedric playing. So if he is playing games, let him go

The ONLY reason we had to hire the dad to get the sons was because Pastner was such a horrible coach and his seat was scorching hot.

Keelon means Dedric, KJ, Chandler and depending on the relationships, probably some of the East guys as well.

No one is holding the program hostage. He was hired to bring players. If he no longer has a job, no more players. It's pretty simple actually.
