Yup...you can make a list for each school and they would have lots of comparable pluses and some key differences. You have to drill down into those subjective and objective differences. They are what I would label 2nd tiered national elite programs.
As you said 4 Top 10 programs and UVA could possibly push into the low teens.

Exactly...have a hard time getn "upset" one way or another and I feel most Cuse/Ville fans feel the same...both are secure with the status of their programs....

Interesting. Is it the school/program that makes it a great job or is it the coach? Is it based on right now vs. historically? I don't agree that Wake Forest is that poor of a job based on just recent trends. Duke as #2? I doubt it after Coach K leaves. I can't argue against UNC as #1 though.
I say UNC and Duke tied at No. 1 and Louisville and Syracuse tied at No. 3. The rest of the list are OK except I will rank BC at 15 and the three below BC raises by one.

I agree about UNC/Duke/UL/SU. But I would leave everything else as the OP listed. I think BC belongs where they are simply because they have a much better recruiting area for bb that would attract a coach. Massachusetts is pretty good for bb recruits and they can get first dibs as the only P5 program there.

The problem with BC is not with Massachusetts but Catholic Church is falling. For the same reason, Notre Dame football is no longer No. 1 by default, or even in the top 10.
