If he goes 4 years with no tourney wins yes he will feel heat and he should.

I give him 2 years to be at least on the bubble for the tournament.

I no longer have much patience with these highly paid basketball coaches.

There is enough talent in Memphis that we should never be a bottom feeder in the AAC.

Even in this terrible year in conference, EVERY team ahead of us was in position for a tournament berth and 4 got in.

If we beat Texas Arlington and ECU AT HOME, as well as USF and Tulane on the road we are at least on the bubble with Pastner as coach.

I expect the new coach to be better than THAT pretty soon.

That sounds reasonable - after all, there are only 350 Division 1 basketball schools.

Depends on the coach. Depends on what happens.

If we're still playing .500 ball 3 years from now and we hired the guy from ETSU, it's time to move on. If we hired Marshall, will depend on what's going on.

If out best year is an NIT year, it might be time to move from ETSU guy depending on what's going on, but you'd definitely give Marshall more time.

You'd think we could get to the NCAAs by year three. But stuff happens. So you wait and see.
