RE: Quinnipiac and North Dakota advance in the Frozen Four - Championship on Saturday
UND hit the post early in the first period. Quinnipiac has had a couple chances but the better ones obviously to UND.

UND takes a 1-0 lead. Just pouring on the pressure and scored on a rebound right in front of the net

2-0 UND, short handed. Quinnipiac goalie came out to play the puck and it hit a charging UND player, who put it in the empty net. Geez!!

I don't want to ever see a North Dakota player complain to the refs about non-calls!! The refs are clearly refusing to call obvious penalties, because there should've been at least 5 power plays for Quinnipiac!!

Quinnipiac cuts the deficit to 2-1, a power play goal. Laser shot!

Good to know Quinnipiac can put a body check on the opposition also.

5-1 UND final
Our 8th championship and wiped away seven unfruitful Frozen Fours over the last 12 years.
Congrats to Quinnipiac on a great season!
With our eleven freshman, great recruiting incoming class, and that U18 World Championships coming to Grand Forks next week that give us an opportunity to showcase our arena to Euros, the future is bright even when we lose some underclassmen to the NHL.

You're the first North Dakota fan to say something like that. Hopefully Coach Pecknold gets the Bobcats back to the Frozen Four next year to erase the bitterness that is two trips to the FF and zero championships!!

As said before, Pecknold has done a truly remarkable job building Q's program from scratch. He will have a championship before long. BC waited for fifty years for one and all the sudden they have multiple rings under York.
