This one reason that the popularity of college basketball is declining. Players come and go and fans can't learn who they are. There's no continuity and little finesse. Can't judge by the tournament because these are the best of the best. At the average school fans don't know and don't care what their team is doing.

Turnover does not seem to diminish the support for Kentucky, Kansas, Duke and other programs that get a lot of 1 and done kids that go to the NBA.
