That excuse again. We couldn't win any titles after 2000 -- you know, when it got so watered down.

I wouldn't say NDSU could or couldn't do whatever. They sure as hell have competed at the highest level of whatever class they're in -- and I respect that.

And sure as hell didn't win 5 in a row before the "oh-we-don't-get-any-attention-in-I-AA-so-we-need-to-be-big-time-and-move-to-FBS-so-we'll-be-on-ESPN-and-be-important-and-people-will-recognize-us-and-I-can-talk-about-my-program-and-people-won't -laugh-at-me-they'll respect-me-because-I-am-important" crowd finally got their way.

So there.

For someone who likes to stick up for the FCS, you sure don't seem to follow it very closely.

Count the number of playoff wins the four teams that NDSU beat in championship games had before 2011. It's about 5 or so.

As for us not winning...look at which two teams were responsible for almost half of our FCS losses from 2010-2013. Monken probably wouldn't have won as many playoff games in the 90s and 00s too.

So there.

And we were right to move. I'm guessing you want to play Mercer and Furman?

Stagnant is the word that comes to mind when I think about our program prior to the move.

This move has provided fresh blood to the program.

Funny thing is GS has App and GA St. to thank for making the move. No way GS moves FBS if they didn't see an upstart program in their state join FBS and their biggest rival.

All parties are better because of it as well.

Tends to happen when you have a President(Grube) and AD that kept the wool over everyone's head saying "Nope, we can't do it... too expensive.. to risky".
