Wait till you see the allsome assistant hire.

Nobody wants the job

This time the statement will be true.

Again, if we need to save for the Big 12 then **** let's save for the Big 12. Why does Paz need a 10 man staff to handle 15 basketball players?

I'm against spending big money on assistant coaches when it's become apparent we need it to get into the Big 12.

Agree

Yep to pay 2.7 mil for a head coach and then spend 500 to 750K on an assistant is just not good business sense IMO

I wouldn't expect that one of the highest paid D1 basketball coaches with 7 years as a the head man to need the kind of help the official statement infers.

Out of 300+ D1 bb programs he's making top 15 money and he needs an ex-head coach and an experienced assistant to help? What?

Lock thread

You don't buy the ruse that an inept, "nice guy" basketball coach is the key to a bigger picture/payoff for the University of Memphis?

This. I mean, come on. You could hire a 500k/year ball coach and get better results. Pastner is toast
