RE: NCAA Tourney Thread- Thursday 3/17
The middies aren't in a position of strength often times. They have more power than in football but there's a reason they whine about shceduling: the powers-that-be are, well, the powers-that-be. Even Gonzaga struggles to get an even home-and-home treatment as evidenced by their series over the years with so-called mid-major Memphis.

As they say, don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I wouldn't consider Purdue a big boy.

They are in the Big Ten.
But it's not like we're Michigan State. It's like going to Cedar Point and only riding kiddie rides.

MSU has been the class of the BIG for a long time.

That is why I say the Sun Belt should have 2 in.

I disagree about having a home against home series. Most of these schools are in cities that have buildings to hold larger crowds for basketball.

Little Rock - Alltel Arena
Tulsa
UTA
UTEP
UTSA
Stony Brook
St. Johns
St. Josephs
Fordham
Cincinnati
Memphis
Etc, etc, etc.

Some smaller ton schools like Drake, Gonzaga, St. Mary's., Cal.-Davis, Cal. Poly etc.

Whoa, look at Charles Barkley steppin' up as an analyst actually giving insightful answers. He said "kiss my behind C2, I know exactly what I'm talking about." 04-cheers
