RE: CUSA Men's Tournament
I'm not worrying too much, I quite enjoy seeing WKU starters get back in the game.

Considering UAB's shaky play down the stretch, and WKU's bigs...do we really want WKU instead of UAB?

I get your concern. The answer is yes. We do not want to play UAB in Birmingham.

Norton is a better defender than Evans.

UAB is a better team and would have a home game. Western Kentucky was barely a .500 team. They are very little outside of Justin Johnson.

Not to mention wku would be playing their third game in 3 days against our very physical defense.
Let's get past La. Tech and then we can worry about that!

I said before that I think any of the top 5 can win it, thats still true, imo. I don't see Charlotte, WKY, or UTEP wining it, but I could see any of the others.

Wow... for the first time in forever. We are playing in a Conference Tournament on a neutral floor!
Need to finish off LaTEKK

In ODU's last 5 games, which were wins over UTEP, UTSA, UNT, Rice, and FAU, each team has been held below their 3 pt. average for the season. UTEP -15.9%, UTSA - 18.5%, UNT - 2.9%, Rice - 29.4%, and FAU -7.6%. I didn't go over the entire season, but I think combined with the steady advantage on the glass, this kind of perimeter defense significantly negates the small amount of perimeter offense from ODU.
LT has hit .333% of their 3 point shots this season.
LT shoots 5-20 from three, -13% off season average. I do realize that three pt. defense is just one aspect of why ODU is on a roll.
