I can't tell who's whining more; Herd fans about the game or UAB fans about Herd fans. However, if you just give them an hour to get **** off their chest then it's over. You know that you're egging it on and then complaining about it happening.

I'm happy that we were able to give the all season #1 team a great game both times, kept it close, and didn't give up, especially in the first game. It would have been easy to pack it in when we were shooting like crap the first game but they kept fighting and came up just short. We haven't rolled over for anyone this year and it's been a while. Just enjoying the ride.

It's two games man. The fans have responded the same way after each. Gets old. You guys have a really solid team, and hopefully you can keep rolling next year. We need multiple teams to have solid out of conference performances. I've always though Marshall had the potential to have a solid program. Good luck to you the rest of the way and maybe we will meet one more time.

The fans after every game respond this way. There's just more of us with more on the line. Go read other game threads. It's the same thing. All I'm saying is let them vent and then it's over. If you keep pushing the buttons, you can't really ***** when you get ten of them jump in and keep the argument going.

It's the ref crap that gets old. They screwed you in Huntington and now they screwed you in Birmingham. At a certain point you just have to say we are two evenly matched teams and UAB came out on top in both. You can't complain about one call at the end of the game and dismiss every other bad call throughout the game.

Like I said, I love what's going on there and you guys have a great team. Having a meltdown over refereeing every time you lose a game is not the way to handle yourself

That's the most dirt they could dig up on any of these guys? And half of them never even see the floor.. I'm not disappointed in them (after all heckling is what student sections do) But, I'm not impressed either.

Yeah, heckle Kilgore for majoring in cellular biology, that will show him. It would probably confuse the vast majority of your players though because they don't know that "cell" means two different things.

I guess coaches and player never complain to the refs... Ever. Must not happen in ole Birmingham.

I sat close enough to the floor for your players hear me when I yelled, and what I yelled at them was, "Nice shoes!"

I kind gesture of sportsmanship and class that did not go unnoticed by this Blazer fan.

Great cause and they did it when we played in Huntington too.

And I didn't realize Marshall did anything in the OOC either other than get blown out by Morehead St. and JMU repeatedly. Please stop.

Well to be fair our team was different until December when all our players were eligible to play and injuries. The team on the floor at the beginning of the year was totally a different makeup.

The UAB fans are over on blazertalk.com. Most rarely venture over here.

JMU and Morehead would just be third and fifth in cusa according to rpi. We were 2-6 without Elmore at pg. 13-7 since and in those 7 losses are WVU, @Maryland, Grand Canyon (look 'em up), UAB in 2 screw jobs, @UTEP, and @Charlotte.

You can't go by RPI to determine their place in CUSA. Their RPI would be lower if they played a CUSA schedule.
