Out of conference football scheduling would die altogether or be nearly non-existent. The spring game is replaced with a pre-season game which does not count in the standings. This appeases existing political mandates that teams play in state FCS teams, and adds a guaranteed 7th home game that can be sold with a season ticket booklet. The death of OOC scheduling removes a lot of pain and expenditure, and maximizes conference TV inventory. The return of schedules predicated entirely upon regional opponents and historic rivals is a big boom for TV and attendance at the gate while minimizing travel costs. Four TV channels, one for each division, headquartered regionally. Atlantic: Charlotte, NC. Coastal: Atlanta, GA. Southeastern: Birmingham, AL. Plains: Dallas, TX.
The other league would be B1G + Pac-12 + UCONN + Notre Dame + Syracuse + Boston College
