They need to remove existing bowls before adding new ones. Dump Bahamas and Hawaii. Fans can't travel to those games.

What's the capacity for this stadium? Honestly, I've never heard of an all star game there. derp.

I didn't know there were more stringent requirements like the $2 million credit line. I'd agree to that. Or that the minimum payout for the bowl should be $800,000/ team. That way it will relieve the teams and conference from having to put there internal $$.

Johnson Hagood Stadium (The Citadel) is 21,000...
Brooks Stadium (Coastal Carolina) is 9,214
And unless I'm missing one, the other stadiums in the area are 4,000 or less...

Myrtle Beach at Christmas sounds great to me...
not as good as S. Fla but better than anything else our bowls offer.

I think Coastal just got approval to expand their stadium to 25,000 or somewhere around there.

Charleston is awesome and the perfect location for a CUSA/SB bowl tie in. I'd guess with App St., GSU and Coastal all not far, the Belt is a near lock. I'd definitely give up Bahamas for this. CUSA needs to get on it. Especially since we lost the Military (Annapolis) Bowl.

They did, but I don't know how fast they want this bowl to happen.

If not for "garage bowls" you most likely would never see Rice in another bowl...
Hell as it is Rice has played in one bowl game (in your lifetime) that might not fall under "garage bowls" just as much as any other "garage bowls"

The hypocrisy of the anti true playoff crowd vs this endless stream of meaningless bowls is ridiculous.
16 team playoff. Rotating Bowl hosts. Make every conference game and CCG's matter (autobid). Give 6 at larges to the P5 to appease them. Go. So tired of all of the excuses. So much money in that idea that it drowns all of them out. Everyone will get richer.

RE: "Bowl games' supply and demand issues might get worse"
Adding more bowl games has got to be one of the dumbest decisions ever made by the NCAA. It has totally sterilized any importance of a winning season. "EVERYBODY GETS A TROPHY!"..... BULLBUTTER!!!!! This pisses me off so much!
