In regard to votes and polls, UAB only has to worry about them if they lose games. Add the records of other C-USA teams to that one point as well. Since UAB is the C-USA leader, unless it stumbles, what polls say and what other teams do doesn't matter to UAB's ambition to play in the NCAA "Big Dance".

During Burler's championship game run, they went undefeated (until that game) after the were blasted by UAB at Bartow...
