Not sure if you are joking or serious, it is at least a reason. I guess I would concede the star QB's presence is more important than mine. If I have nothing else to do that Saturday I suppose I can check out Drew's Aunt's b-day party.

Obviously , HH is having some fun here. Drew's Aunt's b-day is in July.

Yeah, they changed it to Friday to keep people away. Makes a lot of sense.
Yes, I was completely serious there.

Yep. Not many people will be there on a Friday - day or night. Last year, there was quite a nice crowd. They had vendors outside the stadium. It was a nice event. On a Saturday, folks may venture into DeKalb from the city and suburbs. Not many will do that on a Friday if they have to work. I have a group of 4 that went to the previous several Spring games that were held on a Saturday. We will not go this year.

I would bet that their target audience for this is the students. Maybe go a little PJ and add a DJ. We already know they are setting up The Endzone Club but maybe they will test out selling beer to the students on the East side.
I think that's a great idea. Go the SMU route, everyone who presents a valid ID gets a wristband with 3-5 tabs on it. Order a beer? Get a tab removed. Keeps you from overserving people

What about 1 tab per quarter....that might get most of the students to stick around for the 4th quarter.
Boy, when I read "tab' I thought he was talking about something else, and I thought, we're really thinking outside of the box now...

Yes it was a very nice Saturday. I was able to attend with my wife and 8 month year old son, he had a great time on the field and it was his first sporting event of his life. My wife is an ND grad and was very impressed with the on field access for all of us and always how much more personable NIU is compared to other schools. Oh well, Friday night will be a solo trip, still fun but definitely eliminating some attendance.
