Any chance to cut down nets at bartow?
any of you done the scenarios if possible for us to cut the nets down at the WKU game ( last home game ) with two games still to play? Basically is there any way we can at least guarantee a co championship by the last home game if we win?

But if we beat both won't we hold tiebreakers over each, effectively locking up the title?

I think if La Tech wins out and we lose 2 they win the head-to-head tiebreaker vs UAB...

Yeah. I thought about that after I posted. They still have to go to UTEP, Marshall, and WKU I think. I'd be surprised if they win out but I'm with MB, best not to do any net cutting before the end of the season.

Maybe what we should do, to err on the side of caution, is NOT have the "net-cutting" if we're not 3+ games ahead for certain on 2/27 after the game, but instead on 3/5 NOT after a game but after the team returns home for a "special ceremony"?
Only downside is attendance would be LOW, and that's a significant downside, so save the "net-cutting" for March 12th!

Agreed. Last time we cut the nets in the regular season, we got bounced by the 8 seed in the CUSA tournament first round.

How about we cut them down after we win the conference tournament?

If we are up 3 games with 2 to play, by all means cut them down. Winning the regular season championship is way more impressive. These guys know what it's going to take to get to the NCAA tournament, and cutting down some nets along the way doesn't change anything. That being said, it would take a series of very fortunate events for us to clinch with the F_U road trip remaining.
