Congrats to Ronald Blair from App State; he was the only SBC player to be invited to the NFL Combine this year

Congrats to Mr. Blair. I'm pissed off that Antwione Williams from Georgia Southern is still getting slept on.

He's still projected to get drafted in the 6th round, so thats a plus. Congrats to Mr. Blair!

Williams would have put up some serious numbers at the Combine. Not a doubt in my mind.

That's ludicrous that Williams didn't get selected. He'll still get drafted, but geez...the man would put up impressive numbers at the combine and play well for the coaches.

Good luck to Blair. Disappointed Williams was not invited but I think he will get a chance to make an NFL roster

Liberty has two invites. QB and K. Stir they pot.

It is disappointing more weren't selected but how many of your current NFL players were invited to that combine?

We have 5 and only 1 was.

There are mini combines (Bartu went to one in Houston) and their pro days. Not as prestigious as THE Combine but it gives them a smaller platform to show out in and more individual notice to get on someone's radar. Even if it pushes them to UDFA status.

We had 2 last year also, Craig Mager and K Will Johnson. Johnson was an UDFA with the Texans but they released him (and their K sucked). Mager was 3rd round. Mayo was not an invitee.

Williams will go much higher than 6th round. Still would have like to see him in the combine

I think he definitely has the potential to go higher, I think the combine would have helped improve his stock. Not just because of his physical traits, I think he would have killed it in interviews, etc. he's an extremely smart guy and has a great personality, good leadership traits.

Oh well, all reports from the post-season game he went to were positive, and hopefully he has a good pro-day as well.
