To really know Bob Monski, you really have to experience him. I have.

He has used many names on SI, as well as just about every other Stock Message board on the planet. As he is kicked off a board, he somehow always finds a way back. Usually does not take to long to figure out his new screen name, he is not usually the silent type.
Sometimes he will brag from the start that he is back on a message board, other times he plays nice for awhile then exposé’s himself once again, in a hail of fire and brimstone. And not the religious kind, except it is allot of hell he gives people.

I think you can read his messages and figure out why he is disliked by so many, and way he is removed from Message boards often.

Yes, after more then 18 years. Can you believe that? 18 years!! He is a legend, not a very nice one, but a legend.
He was around way before the Internet made guru’s out of anyone who could, or could not, put two words together.
The Old BBS boards, AOL, Prodigy, CompuServe, etc.. He’s been on each many times, kicked off each many times.

His cult status is a bit different from most, his cult following does not like him.

You yourself could be Bob, just waiting to expose yourself again. Would not surprise me!
I have seen him pop up so often, I think I could be Bob myself!! Heck look at my screen name!! : )
Almost anyone COULD BE Mr. Monski., but there is only ONE REAL Bob Monski!


You might ask, how could one person be so disliked…….If this message thread helps return him to SI, then I am sure you will see him in action first hand and decide.

One day, maybe soon. I will compile a book full of messages from Bob Monski, and some about him. I am sure it will be a best seller with many wanting to buy the book, just so they can spit on it as they throw it in the fire. LOL
That is how loved he is!!!! Not Kidding!!

I really don't think so, not at the moment. As was quoted in Brother 58-56's post, he has a very definite pattern, and he can seldom restrain himself very long. He'll go along for a while keeping a low profile, but eventually something triggers him and he goes bull goose loony. Attalla's pretty good at recognizing him by now, lord knows he's had to boot the guy often enough.

What we have here is the typical petty message board bickering, smartassing, and personality clashes. Nobody's trying to find out where someone works and stick a knife in them there or making very personal attacks. The guy's a real piece of work, and if you ever get to really see him at work you'll understand why he gets the boot as soon as he can be identified.

I seem to recall hearing that on the old board he'd be in a thread where six or seven of the posters were him, plus one other hapless soul who everyone else was berating for being an idiot.

Is he the guy that posts as Nevermind on al.com?

This thread needs to be deleted. He who's name must not be spoken has been mentioned numerous times by name. This thread is summoning him from the depths of hell and mark my words he will return and the price we wil pay will be dear

That's quite a find. That's like finding the ark of the covenant.

Anyway, there is a guy who sits in section 208 who always wear shorts. I've always suspected that was Monski, but I really have no idea. He is a big, overweight guy with a beard. At least two other guys usually sit next to him, who are obviously his buddies. It looks like a cult, but I'm sure the same can be said about me and my buddies in 207.

I hardly remember Monski. I remember his name, but not his antics.

I consider myself a student of board history and I hadn't ever heard of him.
