They all have their positives and negatives.
could you please list the positives and negatives of all the potential schools
This is why no one likes you.

Our enrollment has been growing slightly for the past 2 years. The ribbon cutting on the new dorm speaks to the fact that there is a plan to grow enrollment (likely of "traditional" students) by even more.
Man, I hope so. I think with the current administration, we could attract and serve a larger number of students. And I have a hope to double the number of college students in the area, through all the schools. That might require serious adjustments from CBU and Rhodes, which is why it's a hope, and not a goal...

I stand corrected. If it's 60k, then wow. We need to get to 30 or 40 at least.
Our enrollment is about the same as Ole Miss.

One of the more interesting rumors is Arizona and Arizona St to the B12.

Our enrollment is about the same as Ole Miss.
If they destroyed the conference structure and started over, Ole Miss (and Kansas, and Wake Forest, and Iowa St) would not be sought after to repopulate the power conferences.
We're competing for promotion, not existing cartel members, no matter how weak.

Hoop, are you yanking chains? Not being critical, just asking. On it's surface, that sounds insane. Why leave a premier, safe, and profitable conference for the nuttiness that is the Longhorn Conference?
I mean in our case, hell yeah! B12 >>> AAC.
But Pac12 >>> B12, I think...
Still, you shoot straight, so what's the logic behind that rumor? I can't square that circle...

I think it was spawned by a writer in AZ.
B12 blogs are talking about it.
And when I say rumor I mean just that.
More fans and daydreaming than anything.

Based on your hypothesis, Notre Dame and Miami would have less chance than we do of joining "autonomy 5" conferences. Their enrollments are about 11,800 and 16,800 respectively. .

No. I'm saying enrollment matters, but lots of things matter. Notre Dame is the defacto team of every Catholic in America. There fan base is legion.
Miami is the strongest brand in a very important city, less obvious than Notre Dame, but still very desirable.
