Well, It's probably easier to recruit and give personal attention to recruits when you don't have games that you're watching film for and planning for. That's probably part of why we're recruiting so well.

If other programs don't know you're recruiting a player, you save yourself from 2 scenarios:

1. Other programs recruiting the player can't talk bad about you

2. Competing recruiters won't poach your target... your competition knows who you're recruiting, unless they don't know who you're recruiting.

Who knows! I doubt in this day in time you can hide a recruit.

Back in the day the only way we knew who we were recruiting was if there was 2 or 3 players listed in Forrest Davis' recruiting magazine showing interest in and from UAB.

Still adjusting to the social media aspect of recruiting.

Terrific article and one that makes me even prouder of what Bill Clark is accomplishing for us at UAB. Cant wait for signing day when we get to see all about the new recruits.
