Trump isn't going to debate Cruz. If Trump wins Iowa, he's NEVER debating again.

Maybe Sanders is it. Maybe he isn't. I just have a feeling he might be a damn good president. He certainly seems genuine.

BY FAR his best qualities. I like Bernie. I'm not a huge fan of his policies... though actually I'm not a fan of his policies being adopted by the status-quo which means we'll get all the power and money grabs, but little of the actual benefits of his policies.

Democratic socialism (not socialism, but DS) is not something that can be done 'halfway'. Doing it half-way simply leads to bloated government. Bernie would be OUTSTANDING if we had a multi-party coalition type 'proportional representation' system like most of Europe.

We think Obama can't reach across the aisle and work with "the other side"?

Just consider how it would be with Comrade Sanders in office.

but that's blasphemy.....

that's exactly what needs to happen....

it's amazingly simple until the knee jerk media fags get involved....

change is never easy....unfortunately, I don't see it as being plausible at this point....

all I see are people stepping over and eating each other as they destroy based on the unwillingness to compromise and revise a system that is outdated

it sickens me that some diptard fk'r getting shot causes riots and the untrained create political stir that means nothing in scope for the whole.....

people have to suffer....that's just life....that's what this country once thought of as being a proud American....

I'm embarrassed to call myself one these days.....

Just consider how it would be with Comrade Sanders in office.

Then we'd get to hear about "Republican obstructionism" for 4 more years, despite the fact that Congress will have been doing their job, preventing our country from being put out of business and further into a debt spiral.

so if we take that number and divide into 14.5, I only have to deal with potentially two more of these diptard self serving morons....

I too think Cruz wins Iowa and Trump will have no one to blame but himself because I think skipping this debate will be the reason.

If Cruz wins Iowa, which he actually should, it will be because he has an organization that can bus more people to caucuses than Trump supporters willing to drive themselves.

As to game winning, Cruz sounds like a whiny little brother just trying to get a place at the table. It's like he wants to go wherever Trump goes instead of standing on his own. If Cruz wanted to win at Trump's game, then he should hold a rally immediately after the debates and show people just how big his following is. The truth is that Cruz is horrible at playing this game. The guy still hasn't figured out a way to dismiss the Canada question. I respect his intelligence, but sometimes the man is a lot like Gingrich in his arrogance and foolhardy moves. But, that's just my opinion.

cruz is easily just a simple wide open bend over vag that the wine bottle wont fill....

that's why some choose the 'eight extra muscles and 4 degrees warmer' option....

With someone as volatile as The Donald, I'd never say never. All it takes is 1 slip up, and the race could be turned on it's head.

I wouldn't say that necessarily. If he finished in 2nd in the 1st 3 states and the field shrinks, I think he can still pull it off. The path is much clearer if he wins, however.

Doubtful because that would entail the Donald winning all three......because he is going to win NH and SC.

I don't think Iowa means much to anyone but Donald. He has a lot to lose and everybody else just has upside.

Paul, Huckabee and Santorum might need really good performances to avoid folding up. But the rest are fine.

Agree, but he has turned off a lot of people and has the highest negatives. Cruz beats him head to head now. The early state delegates are elected proportionally and Cruz has a 15 point lead in Texas. So, after the SEC, even if Trump wins all states except Texas, the delegate count will likely be pretty much tied. At that point, if everyone else drops out and Cruz has the money to stay in, it is a one on one battle where Cruz has the edge.
