Well Charlotte nearly beat us. I watched the second half of the ODU Marshall game, very entertaining. It was tied with 9 seconds left and James Kelly hit a deep and well defended three to put Marshall up with 3 seconds left. Freeman nearly tied up with a mid court heave that got rim as time ran out. Marshall is good. Lots of shooters and they like to push the pace. They're going to be tough to beat next Sat.

They almost beat us, but we had one of our collapses and gave up a big lead. We clearly outclassed them for about 80% of the game. They do have some good players, though.

Look like you have to shoot over 50% and out rebound the Herd to win. Should be a great game next week.

Marshall, Charlotte, and FIU are all teams trending in the right direction IMO.

37 points on 29 FGA, and 6-6 from the free throw line.
His average is now 20.0 PPG.

I believe 75 points is the most points ODU has scored since conference play started. Of course 78 is probably the most they've given up. Wouldn't be surprised if our game against them goes into the 90s.

RE: Conference scores today
ODU had over 7,000 at their game today, even with light snow, freezing rain, and rain. After 12 games, their home attendance average is 7,002. It's nice to have them in C-USA.
UAB's average is now at 4,066.
Last year UAB averaged 3,258.

ODU has lost three of four games at home.
Marshall is for real.

FIU is now curb stomping UTEP in El Paso. Panthers are on the rise but Floyd's seat is now hotter than the west Texas sun in July.
