That was kind of my point. The freshman did not much meaningful playing time in non conference. I just didn't see the point of a cupcake schedule unless you were going to develop youth. Because NIU is no going anywhere neAr dancing with the current distribution of minutes. It's nothing against Orris but in tournament play you can't rely on the opposing offense to have an off night 3 or 4 times in a row

None of which has anything to do with Highsmith's status. Once again, as you always do, a thread has been highjacked.

It is related. orris playing this many minutes means NIU won't be able to get far in post season play without enough offense Highsmith coming back changes the equation

NIU has been winning with Orris in, just so you know. And in a tournament, you're going to have to use your bench anyways. He's going to play. Get over it.

The problem is 28 mins/game is far far too long to go with little or no production offensively

RE: Highsmith Update
NIU has been winning MAC games because Baker has put the team on his back in those games. When he doesn't score 20 points, you are going to need more scoring to win.

LOL. You will never get it. The thread was SOLELY about Highsmith's medical status and the time frame for his expected return. Orris' minutes and NIU's post season play possibilities have NOTHING to do with this thread. You highjack every single thread on this board.

I will guess Dontel returns Feb13 a home game vs Akron.

Nobody disputes that. You're just repeating yourself in every single thread.

Since Monty seems to disputed it, I think I will take his side over some crazy guy with a tinfoil hat. 16–3 suggests coach knows what he is doing.
