Nice finish to the half.

I've never seen Elon's arena, er, gym before. Stunning, really.

Nice Job closing it to 1 after being down 8. No way they shoot that well in the 2nd. Go Dukes!

RE: JMU @ Elon predictions
These refs are so inconsistent. Brady was about to lose his mind earlier in the half, and I don't blame him.
Nice response by the Dukes heading into half. Elon can't keep this up. Keep working it down low to Dalembert and the kick out game will open up more.

Impressive finish for the half. Real good composure when a team is shooting lights out. I think the refs will call a closer 2nd half and foul trouble wil become an issue for Elon.

To be tied the way that Elon is shooting the 3 is very nice. However,mI believe that Sampson has been hitting most of them and it looks like Dalembert is guarding him. The top of the key isn't where Dalembert is comfortable on D.

Elon is running essentially a 4 guard lineup. Keep feeding the post and let that open up the 3.

I messed up...we're still down one

I'm glad someone else heard this. There's 20+ minutes left in the game and the commentator pulls this line out?

Now about the game...JMU is only down 1 and Elon shot 9 of 13 from 3. If the Dukes can close out on the 3 point line a little better and just let their depth wear down Elon, I think we win this game.

Some posters have been suggesting this very thing and hopefully it brings enhancements for on ball defense and dribble drive penetration.

He doesn't need to be a shooter or scorer to elevate the team's performance. He has a very unique skill set amongst JMU'S roster

You know I've been one of those guys. I heard the pregame comments too and then all we Morgan got was two minutes and not even on the floor with Curry. He had McLean and Grays in there with him. So frustrating.

Brady's lineup choices were odd to say the least, as if he learned nothing from the first Elon game.
Elon is #7 nationally in 3pt makes per game. They shoot a ton of them and make a decent percentage.

Many times Brady had 2 bigs in the game and having everyone switch ball screens. Those bigs will never defend the mighty mights of Elon. They are a perimeter team all the way.

This game will be all about defensive adjustments in the second half.

I think they showed 43-43 on screen at least for a moment.

When it was Morgan-Grays-McLean-Satkus-Dalembert, it seemed to make Dalembert the focal point of the offense operating out of the high post. He looked more comfortable than I have seen him in a while. Stil, a strange lineup

So many offensive fouls called in this game. Somebody needs to hide those whistles

Already like 9 whistles in the first 2 minutes of the game. This is ridiculous.

That last foul on Vodo was possibly the worst foul call I've ever seen. With the next foul on JMU, Elon will be in the bonus the rest of the way....with 16:29 left in the game....

Glad I'm not the only one who thought that. No freaking clue how a guy that doesn't move, has his arms up in the air, the offensive player drives into him while he still does nothing and is called for a foul.
Oh how I hate refs.
