Denver series
WMU loses the first game 5-3 but they looked like the better team in the 2nd period. I liked the way they played. Tonight's game should be close.

RE: Denver series
It's was a gd game last night. First period they struggled a little bit, prolly the altitude. Still, 1-1 after 1. One of WMU strengths is thier forechecking, very tough to do 3 periods in the Rockey Mountain High
Thought Broncos played a better second and third than DU. Just a couple of defensive zone let downs and one goal I'm sure Hafener would like to have back.. Game could of been 3-1 Broncos. Third period Broncos were on the door step several times, once with the puck behind the DU goalie in between his pads inches in front of the goal line and a DU defenseman saw that, saved his butt
DU is who I thought and we match up with them very well. Sat will be tough as it is the second game in CO, but regardless of tonight's out come, Broncos can sweep DU in Kalamazoo

Very quiet on the board. Seems like even the hardcore "fans" have packed it in on this years team?

I'm still here
It may be pre-mature to make this statement, but I think this team is starting to turn the corner. It's started with the second Irish game when they when the went down 3-0 in the third period. Instead of packing it in, the responded the very next shift with a goal and eventually went on to tie the game, take it to over time and win in the 3 in 3.
Same thing happen in Sat DU game, as they went down 2-0 in the third, the very nex shift the responded with a goal, went on to tie the game taking it to OT an once again, winning it in the 3 on 3
I think they believe they can beat anybody and even if they are down, there is a confidence that with in a period they can get themselves back into the game.
Home playoff ice is still with in thier grasp and this year, apppears to an advantage. This is when I want to see our Broncos playing thier best hockey and making a run to the NCAA tournament.
