YYYYEEEEESSSSS 4-3!!!!

I expected that the 3 on 3 after overtime was going to be quick, and it did not disappoint. They were going end to end multiple times with no opportunity to recover. I like that much better than the shootout format.

Agreed. 3 on 3 is 100% better than a shootout. Rock, paper, scissors is better than a shootout.

Wait, they did what tonight? I just assumed it was a shootout. I'm in love with 3-on-3 OT in the NHL

I am in love with 3-on-3 hockey. That was seriously the most exciting 2-3 minutes of hockey I've ever watched.

10x better than a shootout.

Great win and a great a response after Friday's embarrassment. Could be a turning point?

My only disappointment is that this game was officially a tie rather than a win. I guess it would have been nice also if the 8 Notre Dame fans in the row in front of me that left after the first OT would have stayed for the 3 on 3 just to make that drive back a little more meloncholy.

Down 3-0 in the 3rd, I expected WMU to collapse like it did in South Bend the night before.

No.

The finish says something about this team.

Too bad so many fans left early. They missed one of the most exciting WMU sports moments this year. Anytime you beat Notre Dame, in anything, in your house, it is a good win.

If you're gonna play 3 on 3 OT, just do it to begin with and skip 5 on 5 altogether and if no one scores, give each time a point and team that wins shootout gets extra. We would have had the W if 3 on 3 was first. Makes no sense to me how the winner of an OT gets a tie out of it...just IMO
