RE: Kent State vs. Miami
Everyone that thinks we are hunky-dory needs to remember that yes, while we won the division, we lost the outright title to a bad Miami team last year when they came back to beat us.
FF to last night. Same thing almost happened. A top MAC team would finish them off when up by 12 THE FIRST TIME. A Jim Christian or even a Geno Ford team would do just that against a bad MAC team. The status quo of the Sendy regime has been that the team and players digress.
Its been 5 years now. I'll say it now. The coaching carousel really did catch us. It's upsetting. I was hoping Rob would be the one to not run at the first taker to come waving a 7-digit paycheck.

RE: Kent State vs. Miami
I'll say this here.
1) Geno Ford left a troubled program. There were way too many player transgressions. Rob straightened that out.
2) Now that 1) is taken care, Rob has put competitive teams on the floor. Sure, I'd like to see some NCAA action, but it's not like we're talking NIU in the 00s. This team will probably win 20 games, again.
3) I feel like we're really close to something special. I'm not as disappointed in letting Miami hang around and ended up with a win, because that's going to happen in MAC play, as much as losing the Penn State game, when a win was there for the taking. If Kent can start grabbing those games, we're back to something really special.
Personally, I'm sticking with Rob.

me too! Rob is fine.
As for comment about leaving for first best offer think about it this way. lower tier facility in the MAC. no practice facility and MAC is booked a lot so players have nowhere to improve. one of lowest paid assistants in league. a boss who appears apathetic towards hoops and a diminishing fan base. Apply that to your job and what would you do???
Frankly I want a guy leading our program that wants to coach at the highest level
