Anybody who thinks Hugh Freeze is a bad coach or is not worthy of his salary is living on another planet.

Nobody has any proof of buying players or cheating. That's all sour grapes.

Coach Freeze is worth every cent the boosters are willing to pay the man.

We overpaid Cal for 6 yrs before he produced anything near what Coach Freeze has done for OM.

Can we please be happy for a fellow Memphian for having success.

We had our chance to hire the man and we blew it. He deserves what he's earned.

I will gladly blame a lot of things on RC. Not hiring Freeze is not one of them.

he went 10-2 as HEAD COACH at Ark state and won the conference title.

A) Memphis beat the best 2 Ole Miss teams in the modern era. Can't argue with that

B) There's definitely a complex, one I do not understand.

C) So if you don't attend the University of Memphis you aren't a Memphian? If you weren't born here you aren't a Memphian?

D) None of the Tunsil stuff tracks back to Freeze - even if it did, so what....EVERY MAJOR PROGRAM *probably* does this stuff & the coach *probably * knows. You're an Auburn/Bama fan, you *probably* know this.

Look at Ole Miss' football history outside of Vaught and Freeze, it is more barren than a salted landscape. Ole Miss had to reward the man.

The guy had 1 year of HC experience at a Sun Belt school and took over an SEC doormat program. The roster was full of non-SEC caliber players and & academic questions. He had no QB - had to get a former 2-star from Pulaski/JUCO - then proceeded to make the program nationally relevant in just 4 years with back to back New Years 6 Bowl games. Oh, & he has a legit shot at landing 4 of the Top 5 players in the country this year, which has never been done before by any coach at any school...
