In my case because
1) he comes way closer to my views on the issues than anyone else save Rand,
2) I'm in Texas which is not going to be close enough for my vote to matter, and

Most true Libertarians I know hate Cruz and look at him like a snake-oil televangelist. His wife is the ******* head of Goldman-Sachs. Dude wasn't even born here. He didn't bother showing up for the audit The Fed vote, and he wants to make sand glow in the middle east. No true lover of liberty supports Ted Cruz.

It is not an issue I really care that much about.

If I want to smoke weed?...The law is irrelevant to me. I can get it and use it safely without being bothered by the law.

What about foreign policy? Christie and Bush want to shoot down Russian jets and have no fly zones. That's the exact opposite of the Paul's and Gary Johnson.
