Today is my last day at The Enquirer and http://Cincinnati.com due to budget cuts. I sincerely appreciate the high school sports community

RE: Local HS beat
I know it has been said many times but aside for coupons the Enquirer is useless.

I was reading the print version the other day and it seemed like every article was either an AP article or out of some other paper. Only people on staff there are P-Doc and a few Social Justice Warrior types they brought in from alternative newspapers.

The Enquirer is in business to run auto advertising. Not much else.

I have always hated the Enquirer, and always will. A liberal POS, that no advertiser would spend a penny on.

In the 60's, the Enquirer was one of the most conservative -- politically -- newspapers on the planet.

Walter Williams and Charles Krauthammer's columns on Sunday are the only things that make it worth reading. That rag hasn't been worth crap since Peter Bronson left.

RE: Local HS beat
As an elder member herein the only needed thing they publish is which of my friends who did not exercise/eat properly has died. Otherwise it is a worthless liberal, social justice, socialist POS.

Even I am about to go Sunday only.

Yeah, that's why about 99% of the political candidates they endorse are republicans.03-lmfao

Exactly. As a liberal, the Enquirer is political garbage. Actually Cincinnati politics are garbage, but that's another topic.

As someone who played HS sports in Cincinnati, it is sad that the local paper will no longer have an inside scoop on recruiting and storylines.

RE: Local HS beat
The Enquirer never reached the levels of abusive left wing progressive chit spewing crap as others.
Although they employed plenty of leftists, certainly more than those to the right, there is no way to survive
in a rather normal culture as Cincinnati. Although I am more to the right, I voted for Davin Mann, Charlie Luken,
Todd Portune and other Dems over the years. It is funny how the far left urbanists hate Cranley, who is a dem
bond lawyer.
