Yet both have had more winning season since joining the ACC than Memphis has had in the past 20 years.

Forgive shere. He is still bitter about Memphis never getting to play in the Big East. The Big East did not want to be associated with them so they bailed. It's alright shere. Embrace being in a G5 league. Try not to embarrass the AAC with bowl appearances like you just had this season 07-coffee3

I keep finding myself in the strange situation of actually coming to the defense of BC, something that may cause the damnation of my very soul. :)

But, isn't this what a "dumpster fire" might really look like?

I have no real idea on the SOS involved here, but note that Memphis was a CUSA member during these years.

2014: 10-3-0

2015: 9-4-0

The last two years have been pretty good, though.

Difference is we never pretended not to be dumpster fire. The big easr football schools were always overated and without habing each other to play are now not even ranked. A whole conference of supposed p5 teams. Not one ranked. Its a joke. Much like notre dames annual over ranking and subsequent slaughter in big bowl games. Waste of time. After the first 5 mins against ohio stste, even with the rockhead getting ejected, everyone new the outcome. Tired of notre dame wasting spots in big bowls when they arent competitive. Glad yall lost close to supposed good teams. Stanford, meh, beating an awful iowa team doesnt make them great. Clemson. We shall see. I expect bama will beat them pretty bad. Maybe not like notre dame traditionally gets beatdown but a beatdown nonetheless

It is what it is. Year in year out overated wasting a spot for a beatdown. Tradition.

Aww, too bad, Memphis guy. You sound down and bitter, railing against the injustice of it all.

I would knock Memphis for its three touchdown beat down in the bowl game, but you are not worth it.

It really isn't worth it. I've never seen someone so bitter at anyone that was ever associated with the Big East. It's sad too considering the Big East doesn't even exist anymore. Not a good look for him.

The last two years have been pretty good, though.

Our "dumpster fire" football program was winning games for 40 years against the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, FSU, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ole Miss, Miss State, South Carolina, Southern Cal and Virginia Tech before UConn left the "little boy" table with Rhode Island, New Hampshire, etc.. We have had our share of problems (chiefly due to too many years as an independent surrounded by the SEC), but there is now a serious commitment to football and the last two seasons are an indication of future potential.

As for the loss to Auburn, I congratulate them for whipping a team with half it's coaching staff missing and a QB playing to protect his NFL future, but remind their fans that the all-time record is still in our favor (2-1).
I will also remind the Louisville fan who took a shot, that our all-time series record is 19-24 (not exactly domination by UL).

My post was certainly not a shot at you, whom I consider to be a very good poster here, nor was it really a shot at Memphis, which is developing into a pretty good football program after some down years.

Louisville is 17-4 against Memphis in the last 21 meetings, including our 56-0 win a few years ago. That is domination
