Yeah. Iowa was bitchslapping ISU pretty good for most of the game. I thought it was appropriate but it was still weird considering ISU high ranking and they were a 8 pt favorite at home.

Speaking of rushing the court, I just got done watching NBA TV and the Celtics' fans rushed the court after the 1986 title. I didn't know that had been allowed in the NBA so recently (i.e. since the NBA became very mainstream).

In a rivalry game like that, being the perennial "2nd school" in the state, - and to win the way they did - absolutely yes.

It was against the Rockets.

ISU fans were probably sick of having to hear about Iowa's Rose Bowl invite all week while Iowa St had to fire yet another coach, only to get a MAC coach as a replacement. Iowa State, where the only thing good they could say about their football team was Well, at least they are not Kansas. Then they get a good basketball coach and can't keep him, losing him to the Bulls.

Meanwhile Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz just won another coach of the year award and Iowa CB Desmond King just won the Jim Thorpe award, and what was my point again?

Hey, they had Seneca Wallace years ago. That was a brutal schedule (I wanna say in 2002). Yes, hopefully they don't lose to an HBCU in the first round and have their coach act like he's doing a cartwheel before opening his legs in the air in glee.

A reporter got his leg broken during the court storming according to a tweet I saw on Twitter.

Its a rivalry game and it ended in dramatic fashion so i have no problem with it.
