I don't think many people think Washington is the DC one.

You have a small group of messageboard fans in each fanbase...70% of those will know the top schools. 50% of those might know the top 25 programs and you get down to the 25% range when you talk about messageboard fans knowing anything but a name and P5.

Those are messageboard fans...only a tiny fraction of each fanbase. The average fan know very little about any team but their own. The fans that will be going to a bowl game 13 to 16 hours away...messageboard fans will make up a tiny % of those. Hell some of the most active Western posters that lives with in easy driving distant 1 to 2 hours...

make 1 maybe 2 home games a year

mostly only care about their team...I would guess 80% fits in that group for all of us. If they know any more it's from their local paper write up on the game.

people in BG still remember S. Miss as a 0-23 team that got started on that 0-23 with a beat down at Western.. after yesterday most were probably thinking.. same team.
But maybe Washington will do the same..not know who S. Miss is and you can get a bowl win

We were already 0-2 so you didn't start the 0-23....just contributed to it

Yeah I just double checked the location. This will be a nice time in TX looking forward to it! Win or lose the CCG this was the bowl I was hoping for! All USM fans need to go and support the team!
