Okla's best two wins are Baylor and OSU, neither which looked like strong teams.

Baylor may not be ranked which hurts OK more than Texas getting a 5th win.

They also beat us. Yes, by one point, but they won.

I'm pretty excited about facing Oregon or UsC or Stanford. Sure the Sugar Bowl would have been great, but good bowl, date and opponent. Especially considering all the injuries, I'll take it despite not ending up like we hoped at the start of the season.

or Doctson. However, they lost their starting QB in the game too.

Luck is part of the game and OU certainly benefitted from not having to face any of the B12's best QBs. We'll see if that helps or hurts in the playoff

E.g., nobody can now argue that Texas is as bad as South Carolina.

Helps them do what? Go from #3 ... to staying at #3?

Well, their first round game is going to be essentially a home game in the Cotton Bowl, against Alabama.

Alabama isn't some chuck n' duck XII team. They play good football. Power running and defense.

So ducking the top XII QB's won't really matter.

In a word, yes.

Mich St was never going to be #3.

ESPN is trying it's damnedest to force that. But that's BS and everyone knows it.

B1G and SEC shouldn't be in the first round, anyway. ESPN wants to get the B1G out in the first round. That's why they're trying to force Mich St into #3.
