Today's Games
Figured we could start a new thread to watch today's games -K State, Ga state, South Alabama, CUSA title game (sounds like a barn burner so far) UT, other title games, etc.,,

We can also go if we get a ruling somewhere that one of the C-USA bowls has to offer 5-7 in league by APR (Arizona Bowl probably really wants Arizona and not C-USA).
This doesn't sound very possible. What are the chances of all three losing?
Not great. They're all underdogs, but none by much. Forcing Arizona to stay to the C-USA contract is a better chance, and I'm sure the lawyers from all sides are already discussing it.
According to today's DMN, South Alabama is an 18 pt. underdog, Georgia St is 21, and KSU is 5.5.
Here are the TV/video details for these games today:
1 p.m. CST: Ga St/Ga Southern -- ESPN3
3:30 p.m. CST: WVa/K State -- FS1
6:30 p.m. CST: AppState/S Ala -- ESPN3

RE: Today's Games
UH wins the AAC. And will likely play in one of the NY bowls. Wow.

And the access spot? Any debate on that or does that wrap it for them?

it wont be official till the final rankings, I believe. But odds are, they are the highest ranked G5 team, which would give them the access spot.
They were #19 going into today and beat #22 Temple fairly comfortably.

Technically, awaiting the final rankings before bowl season, but effectively UH is it.

If Texas holds on, I'll be 2-2 on the year betting Texas. Took them over OU and Baylor in straight bets.
Why not? Low downside and big upside.

Agreed. Very well done by them.
They got laughed at by many for dreaming big. Well done for staying the course and getting where they are. This will be a huge publicity bump for UH.

What's UT's APR? That information isn't as easy to find as it should be.

Ga St/Ga Southern -- 7-all at halftime.
We need Goergia Southern to win to keep our slim bowl chances alive.

Not sure how much laughing was about them dreaming big, but rather how they were going about it, specifically funding a lot of their improvements via the student fee. To me, it seems like the ends justified the means.
Good work by their admin in getting Herman and putting him in a position to succeed.

No, Leebron and Greenspan both ridiculed UH and SMU for going to a far-flung conference and that they wouldn't be playing rivals.
Meanwhile, CUSA is stretched from El Paso, TX to Miami, Fl to Huntington, WV and Rice is left without a rival. Small time thinking by the President and the AD at the time. And in the AAC West Division, UH still has SMU, Tulsa, Tulane, Navy, and Memphis.
