I agree on the coach of the year, Carey isn't perfect, but the job he did this year with the QB situation seems fairly impressive. Voters seem to give more cred to non conf.

I think Golladay is OK behind Sharpe, the number of catches is pretty big, Golladay started super hot, backed off a bit, and then came on super strong ,but don't know that I'd give him the consistency.

Very surprised Ness and Conlon both get 1st team, i wonder if that's more to do with everyone see the 50+ consecutive starts thing, and not looking at their performance throughout the year. Could have seen 2nd/3rd team for both.

Also feel like someone at the DT spot should have been mentioned, Lee or Thomas, great years for them.

ACRB a well deserved 1st team- "God, I wish the coach's would play him less". Actually could we see 2 RB's from NIU be All-MAC next year? They're that good.

Overall, nothing to really complain about, NIU gets a ton of respect and the other schools have pretty damn good players as well.

Just a note on the Golladay v Sharpe conversation.

Sharpe had 220 targets this year. Most in FBS. Second most? Some guy from Tulsa with 148. Kenny got hosed

Yep. He is a stud in the middle. If not for the injury, I could see him being a late round draft choice.

I feel Compton the JC d lineman will get an opportunity. Has some solid sacks for us. Seems to have good hands.
