O/T and not even MAC related, but is Butler might be the best team in Indiana, better than Purdue and Indiana.

I didn't watch the game because of football, but Butler beat a very good Purdue team yesterday...

Not saying Oakland will beat MSU, they'll be a decided underdog, but that is a game to watch.

Almost went to the Crossroads Classic (tournament in Indianapolis hosting Indiana vs. ND & Butler vs. Purdue) yesterday with a friend who went to Butler. Both were fantastic games. Should've put down the cash for tickets...

Not EMU or MAC-related, but Denzel Valentine is going had his knee scoped (arthroscopic, maybe torn meniscus. Very common 'scope surgery).

"A win for Oakland is not out of the question, especially with news that MSU star Denzel Valentine will miss at least two weeks after having his knee scoped."

Wonder if the officiating follows the normal script for a game like this. Allow the favorite (Big $team) to play very physical yet call it tight on the underdog. Then in the garbage time minutes at the end of the game call it much tighter on the favorite so that the foul totals are similar in the end.

The NCAA has a way of taking care of those with the pockets.

'Nickle, you are absolutely correct.

In this game, OU has one dominate center, Percy Gibson, and a good PF, Hayes. The rest of their team are perimeter players.

If the refs call the game tight on OU and they get in foul trouble up front, OU isn't a match for Costello, Davis, Schilling (I think he's back now), etc.

For those interested, Oakland plays at UVa (Virginia) tonight.

Kay Felder is getting some real acclaim. Much deserved. If he played at a B1G school they'd be building a statue of him now...

Crazy, crazy, crazy... Don't what (or how) they teach the Horizon League players to shoot (or not play defense) but look at two games tonight:

http://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/.../78289468/

UDM won 88 - 80, in the 'low scoring' game.

Check out the Oakland game!!

Both MAC road teams won tonight in conference play. Both very close. The KSU/WMU game went into OT.

Don't know where to toss this, it isn't EMU or MAC, but apparently Trevor Manuel the very highly ranked Oregon frosh from MI apparently will be transferring.

Apparently is stuck behind a bunch of talented players.

Don't tell me he transfers to MSU (they don't need more talented players).
