I agree. Not saying the $ is not there and yes I know they are different sets of boosters. Pastner's buyout is astronomical. Maybe we get lucky and he goes somewhere else I seriously doubt it - the word is out on him.

Potentially paying for a new FB coach + New bball coach + Pastner's buyout.

That's a lot of scratch.

I truly think we are stuck with pastner for 1 maybe every 2 years.

They might as well move the games to the field house if that happens

Be prepared for bottom of the barrel unproven coach since we will have to replace both, but hey people will be happy with anything besides this train wreck.

We'll probably be paying our new coach less than what we were planning to pay Fuente. Plus, we'll have an extra $500K to mess around with from his buyout.

Would we have to hire a mid major coach? could we get a power 5 coach? Memphis is still a good job relative to even some power 5 jobs.

Stoudamire,with a doubt....

NOT Bobby Hurley. Their last possession of regulation was one of worst I've ever seen.

He doesn't have to curse. John Wooden and Gene Bartow weren't cussers. They are basketball coaches not Marine drill instructors.

Thank you. The shots at CJP about cussing are ridiculous. I get that people don't like the way he interviews. But you definitely do not have to cuss to be a good coach. And to get your point across.

It's the entire package with Josh. The squeaky clean, goofy, strange, control freak, non-media savy and delusional characteristics on display invite criticism. Throw the no cussing thing in there, then you get the collective rolling of the eyes.

Keelon Lawson, a young coach who knows how to recruit and develop talent. Would build a fence around Memphis.

Archie is the obvious first choice. This is a good basketball conference.

Forbes is going to kill it as a coach.

We can get him early and cheap, if we're not going to aim for a big name (Pearl, etc.)

You want to hire a guy who has exactly one year of experience at the college level. Great idea.
