Swiss cheese. Two drives started inside the NIU 10 yard line. Two QUICK scores.
A 3rd string QB lit them up.
Injuries? Spillane, that's it.
It's not as if we were facing an elite group of backs.
I'm very concerned about the DBs. Fleck has recruited a ton of "athletes." That is a broad term that often means they can fill multiple positions. The key at DB is hips. Players who lack hips face guard, and rarely get pass breakups or picks. If he doesn't have guys coming up who can BE BETTER than what we have back there we will see more of the same.
Question for next year. Will the QB position be open to competition?
I doubt it, and even if so, who would beat out Terrell?

I think AFM will have things going right soon.
